I. To encourage student clubs at all levels of domestic schools to pay attention to ocean issues, develop ocean-related clubs, and organize ocean activities, the Ocean Affairs Council has allocated a budget of NT$800,000 for the aforementioned subsidy next year (2027) (if the 2027 budget is reduced by the Legislative Yuan, the subsidy amount will be adjusted accordingly).
II. Application Period: From January 1, 2027 to November 1, 2027, or until the subsidy funds are fully depleted.
III. Application and Review Process:
Substantive reviews will be conducted in accordance with Points 4 and 5 of the Ocean Affairs Council’s Guidelines for Encouraging School Clubs at All Levels to Conduct Ocean Activities.
Please register for an account on the Ocean Affairs Council’s “Ocean Field Subsidy Project Portal” (URL: https://project.oac.gov.tw/Login.aspx). Once approved, log in to the system to complete all required fields.
If revisions are required after review, the application will be returned via the system. Once corrected, please send a formal written paper document (relevant attachments must be originals stamped with the school seal and signed/sealed by the school principal) by mail to the Council for processing.
The same procedure applies to budget verification/reimbursement and project result reporting after the event concludes.
