The “Starlight Program” is now recruiting one-on-one tutors! We sincerely invite you to join us in helping underprivileged children improve their academic performance.
The “Starlight Program,” launched by the Hon Hai Education Foundation, provides after-school care and academic support for disadvantaged children. The goal is to ensure that after school, these children have a safe place to go, someone to accompany them while doing homework, a warm dinner to enjoy, and personalized tutoring support to strengthen their academic abilities—empowering them to transform their lives through education.
We are now recruiting online and in-person one-on-one tutors. If you are passionate about teaching and possess basic subject knowledge, we encourage you to apply and become a guiding force in changing a child’s future.

Recruitment Information
Registration Period:
From May 20 until all tutor-student matches are completed
Requirements:
A passion for teaching; availability for one academic year is preferred
Students Served:
Disadvantaged elementary and junior high school students (Grades 3–9)
Each tutor will be matched with one student
Teaching Subjects:
Primarily Chinese, English, and Mathematics
The teaching philosophy emphasizes “filling learning gaps first, then advancing further” through remedial instruction
Teaching Frequency:
Twice per week (fixed schedule), 1 hour per session
Teaching Format:
Online or in-person
For online sessions, classes will be conducted via Google Meet, with students attending from designated physical learning centers
Matching Results:
Tutor-student matching will begin in late July 2026 based on availability and subject preferences
Matching and notifications are expected to be completed by mid-September 2026
Compensation & Incentives:
Online tutoring: NTD 300/hour
In-person tutoring: NTD 450/hour
Additional incentives include teacher training participation rewards, sharing session incentives, perfect attendance bonuses, and retention rewards

報名條件：有教學熱情，能配合一學年度為宜
課輔對象：弱勢國中小學童，年級從小三到國九，一位老師固定教一位孩子
課輔內容：國語、英語、數學為主的教學與解惑，以「先補洞，再精進」為理念進行補救教學
課輔頻率：每週2次（時間固定），每次1小時
課輔模式：實體或線上，若因距離關係需線上上課，則師生使用Google Meet上課（但學生於實體據點上線，接受老師一對一上課）
結果通知：將於115年7月底開始依上課時間、科目……等條件進行師生配對，預計115年9月中前完成媒合與通知。
服務獎勵 ：線上300元/時；實體450元/時，另還有參加師培課程與交流分享會獎勵、全勤獎勵、續案留任獎勵等多項獎勵機制。
