Taipei City Department of Youth Affairs 2026 "Our Affairs — Youth Public Literacy Lab" (Beitou & Datong Sessions)

I. Purpose
To encourage youth participation in public affairs and develop skills in critical thinking and policy advocacy, the Department of Youth Affairs, Taipei City Government presents the “Youth Public Literacy Lab.” Through field tours, World Café discussions, and expert salons, this initiative leads participants in exploring local public issues in depth.

Beitou District: “Our Affairs — Beitou Old Town Development & Conservation Training Camp”
Event Dates:
College/University Students: Wednesday, August 12, 2026 (08:30–16:30)
High School / Vocational Students: Friday, August 14, 2026 (08:30–16:30)
Registration Deadline: Open until Friday, August 7, 2026
Datong District: “Our Affairs — Dadaocheng Business Strategy: Youth Entrepreneurship & Commercial District Transformation Training Camp”
Event Dates:
College/University Students: Tuesday, August 18, 2026 (08:30–16:30)
High School / Vocational Students: Thursday, August 20, 2026 (08:30–16:30)
Registration Deadline: Open until Wednesday, August 12, 2026
III. Eligibility & Registration Details
Eligibility: Students aged 15 to 45 enrolled in high schools, vocational schools, or universities/colleges (including graduates of the 2025–2026 academic year) who reside, hold household registration, or study in Taipei City.
Fee: Free of charge.
Registration Method: Online registration. Capacity is limited to 30 selected participants per session
