Program Details of the “2026 Taipei Youth International Impact Lab”
(1) Target Audience & Capacity
- Eligibility: 1st and 2nd-year students from senior high schools, vocational schools, colleges, and universities who are either studying in Taipei or registered residents of Taipei.
- Quota: 50 admitted participants and 15 to 20 on the waiting list.
(2) Program Content
The program consists of two main parts: Training Courses and a Simulation Conference.
- Training Courses: Topics include introductions to major international rules of order, diplomatic capacity building, proposal debate, logical thinking, and document drafting.
- Simulation Conference: Modeled after the APEC Youth Forum framework. Participants will represent different APEC economies to write Position Papers on designated international topics, deliver position statements, engage in cross-border negotiations, and draft joint statements, gaining hands-on experience with the workflow of international conferences.
