1.

The Credit-based Program for Club Leadership Empowerment (the “Program”) is established in accordance with the Establishment Regulations for Credit-based Programs at National Taiwan Normal University (the “University”) to cultivate the innovative leadership and teamwork skill sets in students to enhance their future employment prospects. The Program is established under the Center for General Education (Office of Academic Affairs) and implemented by the Division of Extracurricular Activities (Office of Student Affairs).

Students enrolled in the University may undertake this Program during their studies without prior application.

A minimum of 16 credits are required for this Program, including 4 credits of required courses (Club Management Practicum I and II) and 12 credits in elective courses. Course details are available in the class roster for this Program.

The five club management courses in this Program, including Club Management Practicum I and II, Club Marketing, Club Leadership Training Program Planning and Execution, Club Assessment Planning and Execution, are required to be manually added. Students who wish to take these courses must register with the Division of Extracurricular Activities at the Office of Student Affairs and those who meet the requirements will be directed to the Office of Academic Affairs for the course selection.
The requirements for each course are as follows.
Club Management Practicum I and II: The student must be a club officer in the semester of taking the course.
Club Leadership Training Program Planning and Execution: The student must be a club leader in the semester of taking the course.
Club Marketing or Club Leadership Training Program Planning and Execution: The student must have served as a club leader or club officer.

Students who have met the requirements for graduation from a department or graduate institute but have not yet completed the courses and credits in this Program may apply for an extension of the study period in accordance with relevant regulations, provided that they have taken at least 6 credits in the Program, including the required courses. If they are admitted to a master’s or doctoral program at the University, they may continue to undertake this Program during their studies.

Students who have completed the courses and credits required for this Program may submit an application form and transcript for review and approval by the Division of Extracurricular Activities to apply for the issuance of a certificate of completion from the Office of Academic Affairs.

7.

Matters not stipulated in the Guidelines shall be governed by relevant University regulations.

8.

These Guidelines and any amendments thereto shall become effective after approval by the Academic Affairs Committee.
