1、To promote national languages and human rights education, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Management Office is hosting this event to open up diverse historical narratives and dialogue through film. We hope to lead the public to appreciate the rich charm of Taiwanese (Taigi) cinema, thereby deepening understanding and reflection on Taiwanese language culture and human rights values.
2、This event series features 8 selected high-quality Taiwanese (Taigi) films with a total of 8 screening sessions. In addition to free admission, each session includes an introductory presentation before the movie and a post-screening panel session, where directors or cross-disciplinary experts are invited to share insights and engage in discussion.
3、All 8 screening sessions will take place at the Auditorium on the 1st floor of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The event is free and requires no advance registration. To ensure viewing quality, admission number tags will be distributed on-site 30 minutes before each showtime. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis upon presentation of a tag until full capacity is reached.
Participants can earn Lifelong Learning Hours for Civil Servants and Continuing Education Credits for Teachers based on their actual attendance. Furthermore, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture’s “Taigi Family Cultivation Program,” full participation can also earn reward points.
