To encourage young students to document city stories through video and discover Taipei’s local culture and lifestyle characteristics, the Taipei Public Access Channel is organizing the “2026 Taipei in Focus 3” Video Contest. The theme for this year’s event is “Amazing Taipei Eats” (台北好食讚). We sincerely invite your to assist in announcing this event and to encourage eligible students to actively participate.
Contest Theme: Amazing Taipei Eats.
Creative Scope: The scope of this call for entries covers the 12 administrative districts of Taipei City. Students are invited to use video to introduce representative cuisine, food memories, and local cultural features of each district. By using creative perspectives to map out the city’s culinary landscape, the contest aims to showcase Taipei’s diverse and rich food culture.
Registration Period: July 1 to September 30, 2026.
Contest Categories: Youth Student Category (1) Eligibility: Students in senior high school and below, including elementary, junior high, senior high, and vocational high schools, as well as first- to third-year students in five-year junior college programs. (2) No restrictions on the filming format. Minor participants must submit a parental consent form along with other required documents. Enthusiastic Student Category (1) Eligibility: Students in colleges and universities, four-year and two-year technology programs, and fourth- or fifth-year students and above in five-year junior college programs, including master’s and doctoral students (excluding in-service/part-time degree students).
