The 2026 New Taipei City River & Ocean Music Festival aims to promote original Taiwanese music by inviting well-known domestic and international bands to perform, thereby enhancing the overall standard of Taiwan’s music scene.
The festival is designed to reflect the characteristics of youth culture by incorporating themes of courage, adventure, inclusiveness, and individuality in music, while enriching local tourism and cultural activities.
As part of the festival series, the Gongliao Session will be held at Fulong Beach. The competitive event, “Ocean Indie Music Awards,” is now open for applications.
