Notification: 2025 Fringe Hosted by the Graduate Institute of Performing Arts, NTNU

1. The Graduate Institute of Performing Arts at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Over the past two decades, the institute has nurtured numerous talents in arts management and musical theatre in Taiwan. To mark this milestone, the institute is collaborating with the Center for Performing Arts and Mandarin Musical Theatre to launch the “Fringe,” inspired by the concept of poor theatre. The festival aims to encourage the development and emergence of original works.
2.In addition to stimulating creativity, the event serves as a platform for creation and production in the performing arts. It provides opportunities for creators and production teams to connect, collaborate, and potentially produce successful works. This year, the festival will take place in four selected venues across the university, aiming to spark creative energy and foster a festive atmosphere through an intensive schedule of performances in limited spaces.
