1. The "Donghai Care Camp" is an international volunteer camp that has been providing long-term care for remote rural areas. As of 2025, it has been held nine times, with 238 domestic and foreign volunteers from 20 schools in 7 countries participating in service and learning. It has served 1,220 elementary school students in 8 schools in Zhongliao Township, Nantou County.
2. The volunteer-related course "Business Management Education and Service Learning" provided by this camp was awarded the "Outstanding Course Teaching Plan of the Service Learning Award Program for Colleges and Universities" by the Youth Development Administration of the Ministry of Education in 2017. The course content includes lesson plan planning, board game design and financial literacy.
3. This year’s “Donghai Care Camp” will be held from July 6 to 31, 2026. The first week will be spent in training at our school, and the second to fourth weeks will be spent in Zhongliao Township Elementary School to provide services in rural areas.
IV. Students who complete the full camp training and service will be awarded a 200-hour service learning certificate by the organizer.
V. Eligibility for application: High school, vocational school or university students who are 17 years of age or older.
