2026 Global Youth Trends Forum Organized by the Youth Development Administration, Ministry of Education

  1. Purpose:
    To promote international exchange and cooperation among youth, the aforementioned forum is scheduled to be held from January 3 to 4, 2026 . To facilitate smooth cross-national youth exchanges, event encourage Taiwanese youth and international students currently enrolled in Taiwan who are interested in global participation and youth development issues, and who possess good English communication skills, to register and participate.

    (1) Date: January 3–4, 2026
    (2) Venue: Grand Hi-Lai Taipei Hotel (No. 101, Bangka Blvd., Wanhua District, Taipei City)
    (3) Forum Theme:
    a.Main Theme — 「永續新動力:青年 × 綠領 × 行動」
    b.Subtopics — 「青年永續行動」、「綠色經濟暨綠領人才」
    (4) Eligibility:
    。Taiwanese Youth:
    Aged 18–35 (born between January 1, 1991, and December 31, 2008). Must have good English communication skills. The forum will be conducted entirely in English; participants must have at least an intermediate level in GEPT (General English Proficiency Test) or an equivalent English proficiency certificate.
    。International Youth Studying in Taiwan:
    Aged 18–35 (born between January 1, 1991, and December 31, 2008).
    Must have good English communication skills. Must provide proof of current enrollment at a Taiwanese university or college (e.g., certificate of enrollment or a copy of a valid student ID).
    。Participant Requirements:
    Participants should be genuinely interested in the forum topics (see Attachment) and actively engage in discussions and exchanges. A total of 110 official participants and 30 alternates will be recruited (the number of alternates may be increased depending on the situation).
    。Students from Economically Disadvantaged Families:
    Students from low-income or lower-middle-income households who do not have the required English proficiency certificates may submit a recent (within one year) English course transcript and a recommendation letter from an English teacher as an alternative qualification document.
    (5) Registration Method:
    Registration is conducted online through the iYouth International Youth Dream Platform at https://iyouth.youthhub.tw. The registration period is open from now until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025.
