The 2026 Autumn and Winter program adopts “Cravings” as its theme, exploring people’s immersion in, attachment to, and pursuit of everyday things. It invites audiences to rethink the relationship between the body, senses, culture, and humanity, reflecting through artistic experiences on the significance of “cravings” in contemporary life and transforming them into a source of creativity. The event planning is as follows: (1) Exhibition Series: Lag: Ni Hao Solo Exhibition: Running from Wednesday, September 23 to Wednesday, December 23. The opening reception will be held at 19:00 on Wednesday, September 23 at the Art Space on the 5th floor of the Arts Center. An interdisciplinary lecture titled Clothes Still Remember Your Body will take place on the evening of Thursday, October 15 at the Mingdar Lecture Hall on the 4th floor of the College of Law. (2) Performance Series: A total of three free performances. Story Works’ Three Zhu Geliang will be performed for two sessions on the evenings of Wednesday, November 25 and Thursday, November 26 at the Audiovisual Hall on the 3rd floor of the Arts Center. Alma Tango Ensemble’s Vertigo will be performed on the evening of Thursday, December 3 at the Audiovisual Hall on the 3rd floor of the Arts Center. (3) Film Series: A total of five free film screenings, listed chronologically: A Pale View of Hills with a post-screening talk on the evening of Wednesday, September 30; Beautiful Boy on the afternoon of Friday, October 16; The Need for Hunger on the evening of Tuesday, October 22. The Social Justice Film Festival screenings and post-screening talks for In Deep Quiet and In the Same Boat will be held on the evenings of Wednesday, October 7 and Wednesday, November 11 at the Audiovisual Hall on the 3rd floor of the Arts Center, respectively. (4) Eco-Sustainable Woodcarving Project: Introducing the “Learning Woodcarving Creation from Scratch: Daruma Doll” workshop. Three identical sessions will be held on Saturday, November 21, Saturday, November 28, and Saturday, December 12 at the Art Corridor on the 4th floor of the Arts Center. Limited to 8 participants, and advance registration with a fee is required.
