【Competition Information】The 11th Immigrant Dance Competition

  1. Registration Period: From February 23, 2026 (Monday) to March 31, 2026 (Tuesday).
  2. Eligibility: 1. Immigrants holding a Republic of China (Taiwan) Identity Card or a valid Alien Residency Permit (ARC). 2. Team Composition: At least one-third of the team members must be immigrants. For teams of only one person, that individual must be an immigrant; for teams of two, at least one person must be an immigrant.
  3. Competition Dates:
    ● Northern Regional Preliminaries: April 26, 2026 (Sunday).
    ● Southern Regional Preliminaries: May 24, 2026 (Sunday).
    ● Central Regional Preliminaries: June 7, 2026 (Sunday).
    ● National Finals: June 14, 2026 (Sunday).
  4. Competition Rules:
    ● Dance Type: Primarily ethnic folk dances from the immigrants’ home countries.
    ● Requirements: Participants must provide their own costumes, props, and music.
    ● Performance Duration (including entrance and exit): Group A: 3 to 5 minutes/ Group B: 5 to 7 minutes.
    ● Advancement: Teams awarded the “High Distinction” (優等) rating in each category at the regional preliminaries will advance to the National Finals.
