New Immigrants Education Advancement Project-10th New Immigrants Dance Contest

1. Purpose: To empower new immigrants and their children by leveraging their linguistic and multicultural strengths, and to enhance local understanding of their native cultures, since 2016 the ministry has held this dance competition. It aims to promote multicultural integration and exchange through performance, and to establish a fresh artistic and cultural platform.
2. Competition Details:
(1) Registration Period: July 1, 2025 (Tuesday) to September 1, 2025 (Monday).
(2) Eligibility: New immigrants holding a Republic of China (Taiwan) national ID card or a valid residence permit.
In each registered team, at least one-third of participants must be new immigrants. If the team has only one member, that member must be a new immigrant; if the team has two members, at least one must be a new immigrant.
(3) Competition Dates:
● Southern Region Preliminary: September 27, 2025 (Saturday)
● Northern Region Preliminary: October 4, 2025 (Saturday)
● Central Region Preliminary: November 1, 2025 (Saturday)
● Finals: November 22, 2025 (Saturday)
(4) Contest Regulation:
● Types of dance: The new immigrants primarily perform traditional dances from their home countries.
● Participants must bring their own costumes, props, and music.
● Please specify the title of the dance, the content, the choreographer, and the performers (e.g., dancers).
● Performance time (including entry and exit):
In each region’s preliminary round, teams in each group awarded “Excellence” will advance to the finals.
