To promote the sustainable development of Hakka language and culture, the Hakka Affairs Council will host the following events:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 Hakka Choir Competition will be held on May 23\u201324, 2026 (Saturday\u2013Sunday) at the Miaobei Art Center Performing Arts Hall, Miaoli County.
The Modern A Cappella Performance Contest will take place on July 4, 2026 (Saturday) at Big City Shopping Mall, Hsinchu City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Registration Deadlines:
    Choir Competition: April 27, 2026 (Monday)
    Modern A Cappella Contest: April 7, 2026 (Tuesday)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Awards:
    The maximum prize for winners is up to NT$100,000.
    To encourage international participation, winning student teams may apply for a subsidy of up to NT$300,000 if they participate in recognized international choral competitions featuring Hakka repertoire before the end of 2027.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
