Program Overview:\nTo encourage university student organizations to engage deeply with local communities and support disadvantaged groups, the foundation has promoted the \u201cStudent Service Organization Support Program\u201d since 2006. The initiative aims to leverage students\u2019 expertise and skills to serve vulnerable populations in rural and remote areas across Taiwan. In 2026, the program will continue this mission by seeking student organizations committed to long-term, on-site service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funding:\nThe total budget for this year is NTD 1.5 million. Funding allocations will be reviewed and approved by the foundation\u2019s board of directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility & Focus:\nFor the 2026 (Academic Year 115) program, applications are open to service-oriented student organizations from colleges and universities. Applicants are encouraged to integrate their academic expertise into sustained service for disadvantaged groups in rural areas. Medical-related service teams are especially encouraged.\nMedical-related teams may apply for single-service deployments (minimum of 5 service days, excluding preparation time).\nNon-medical teams are encouraged to conduct long-term, continuous service throughout the academic year, including winter and summer breaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application Process:\nApplications are open from now until May 15, 2026. Relevant guidelines and application forms can be downloaded from the foundation\u2019s official website: https:\/\/www.apcharity.org.tw\n\nApplication requirements:\n\nApplications must be officially submitted by the university\u2019s extracurricular activities division.\nSubmit three hard copies of the application form and proposal to:\n3F., No. 272, Xinhu 3rd Rd., Neihu Dist., Taipei City 114, Taiwan\n(Recipient: Apple Daily Charity Foundation; Note: Student Service Application Materials)\nSubmit electronic copies (Word and PDF formats) via email to: hope85@apcharity.org.tw\n\nBoth hard copy and electronic submissions are required.
