    The King Car Education Foundation’s “Cultural Anywhere Door” lecture series features the themes of the “Day of the Dead in Mexico” and the “Keelung Mid-Summer Ghost Festival.” We have invited tour leader Chun-Yu and Dan Yen-Bo, founder of Keelung Camino, to guide participants into an in-depth look at these two major festivals, exploring the philosophies of life in Eastern and Western cultures. In Mexico, people welcome the deceased with colorful marigolds, sugar skulls, and music, turning remembrance into a vibrant celebration. In Taiwan, customs such as releasing water lanterns, erecting lamp poles, and Pudu rituals demonstrate the folk belief of honoring ancestors and remembering the departed. Through cross-cultural comparison, this lecture will broaden diverse cultural perspectives.

    Subject:
    To encourage student clubs and academic societies to embody the spirit of social service, this initiative invites their participation in the Ministry of Education’s ‘University Student Clubs Mentoring Primary and Secondary School Clubs Development Program.’ By serving as club instructors at partner primary and secondary schools during extracurricular hours, college students can help alleviate the shortage of activity instructors in these schools while creating valuable opportunities to apply their knowledge in service to others.

    Implementation Principles:

    • Each student club should consider the course schedules and academic workloads of both participating college students and primary/secondary school pupils, establishing a one-year long-term partnership plan (from March to December) with partner schools. To fulfill the goal of driving primary and secondary school club development, each semester should ideally include at least four activities (at least eight per year, with a minimum of one outdoor activity). In principle, each partnership plan should target a single club.
    • Activities should be planned under the principle of fixed-schedule and fixed-location service.

    Interested student clubs wishing to apply are requested to review the attached guidelines first. Please prepare the following required documents and submit them to the Division of Extracurricular Activities before the deadline. The university will compile and submit all applications to the Ministry of Education collectively.

It aims to enhance participants’ abilities in design thinking, needs discovery, and problem definition, empowering youth to develop social innovation projects and form teams to apply for the Young Fly Global Action Plan.

    Under the theme “All in AI: Symbiosis Era,” the event features 6 major themed exhibitions, 25 international perspective forums, and over 100 industry matchmaking events. Covering topics such as AI, XR, virtual production, tech art, and immersive entertainment, it creates a cultural tech experience that crosses the boundary between reality and the virtual world. Key highlights include:
    (1) Themed Exhibition “Yes, AI Do: Welcome to the 2050 Emotional Exchange”: Running from October 9 to October 26, this exhibition centers around a virtual emotional service space in 2050 and a “wedding” experience, exploring the future of human emotion and social interaction in the AI era. The closing event on October 26 will bring together VOCALOID creators and digital artists from Taiwan and Japan for a joint performance.
    (2) “XR DREAMLAND”: Showcasing 39 domestic and international works, including award-winning pieces from prestige film festivals such as Venice, Cannes, and SXSW. Must-see highlights include Asian premieres and multi-user interactive VR works like Artemis: Moon Mission, First Ascent: Everest 1953, and The Darkroom, alongside Taiwanese original and international co-production works such as To Limakawud, My Time Machine, and Shell Island.
    (3) “Cultural Tech Trends Series” Forums: Key representatives from the cultural content industries in Japan and South Korea are invited to Taiwan to share practical industry insights. Topics include “Hatsune Miku and Creators: Miracles of Creation,” “Solo Leveling: The Evolution of a Phenomenal Masterpiece,” and “AI Film Revolution: Unlocking the Visual Effects of Agent Kim,” covering issues such as IP management, cross-border collaboration, animation production, and AI film application.
    (4) MUTEK x TTXC Series: Marking TTXC’s first collaboration with a music festival, this series features exhibitions, forums, and the live audiovisual performance “Let’s Play with MUTEK!”, featuring artists from Canada, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
