this election is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 28, 2026. To ensure smooth operations, according to the Public Officials Election and Recall Act, Chief Directors (currently serving), Chief Inspectors (currently serving or former), and at least one-third of the Inspectors (currently serving) at polling and counting stations must be civil servants or public school staff.
II. Election Work Allowance
Allowances will be provided in accordance with the Central Election Commission’s payment standards (calculated based on 3 election ballots and 1 referendum ballot):

In response to modern challenges such as wage stagnation, anxieties surrounding AI replacement, high housing prices, and high-pressure work environments, the Youth Peace Corps is hosting this forum to encourage young people to transform their daily experiences and pain points into concrete policy proposals—making youth voices the catalyst for change. With no professional policy threshold required, the forum aims to foster youth engagement in public governance and policy advocacy through expert keynotes and breakout panel discussions.
II. Forum Details
Focus Areas: Covers five key youth-centered issues: “Education & Skills,” “Employment & Entrepreneurship,” “Social Welfare,” “Health & Wellbeing,” and “Public Governance.”
Target Audience: Youth aged 18 to 35 (including university students, young professionals, and anyone interested in public policy).
Sessions & Dates:
New Taipei Session: Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Huichuang Lecture Hall (B1, Cultural Medal Building, No. 100, Sec. 2, Wenhua Rd., Banqiao Dist., New Taipei City).
Taichung Session: Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Taichung Minsihuisuo (6F, No. 73, Datong 9th St., Wuri Dist., Taichung City).

]]> 1、In coordination with the Ministry of Culture’s Youth Adult Gift Policy, starting in 2026, Culture Points worth 1,200 points per person will be issued to individuals aged 13–22 to encourage youth to participate in arts and cultural activities. This compilation highlights venues and events accepting Culture Points from September to December for the back-to-school season, encouraging nearby students to actively participate and enrich their cultural experiences.

]]> The theme for Autumn/Winter 2026 is “Addiction/Obsession” (癮), exploring people’s immersion in, attachment to, and pursuit of everyday things. It invites the audience to reconsider the relationship between the body, senses, culture, and humanity, reflecting on the meaning of “addiction” in contemporary life through artistic experiences and transforming it into a source of creativity. The event details are as follows:
Exhibition Series: Hysteresis – Ni Hao Solo Exhibition: Running from September 23 (Wednesday) to December 23 (Wednesday). The opening gala will take place on September 23 (Wednesday) at 19:00 at Art Space, 5th Floor, Art Center. An interdisciplinary lecture titled Clothes Still Remember Your Body will be held on the evening of October 15 (Thursday) at Ming-Da Lecture Hall, 4th Floor, College of Law.
Performance Series: Three free performances in total. Story Works’ 3 Zhuge Liangs will feature two evening performances on November 25 (Wednesday) and November 26 (Thursday) at the Audio-Visual Hall, 3rd Floor, Art Center. Alma Tango’s Vertigo will take place on the evening of December 3 (Thursday) at the Audio-Visual Hall, 3rd Floor, Art Center.
Film Series: Five free film screenings in total:

AYLTLC aims to bring youth leaders worldwide, through engaging activities, to enhance their abilities in cross-cultural interaction and cooperation, which will further equip them to be effective leaders. In addition, participants will be able to understand more about Asia – a continent with rich cultures, beautiful traditions and vibrant society from various perspectives. Lastly, what they learn here will also be applicable to their home countries as well as the increasingly interconnected and interdependent world.

Information on the 15th Asian Youth Leaders Travel and Learning Camp (AYLTLC 2027) is as follows:

Date: 18-22 February 2027.

Location: Singapore.

Application Deadline: The deadline to apply through our school is October 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

How to Apply: Please complete the attached application form and email it as a digital file to haoenhsu@ntnu.edu.tw before the application deadline.

    2.Eligibility: Open to all nationalities; participants must be at least 15 years old.
    3.Game Titles: League of Legends and VALORANT.
    4.Prize Pool: Total prize pool of over NT$200,000.

    ]]>     (1) The 11th TSMC Youth Dreamer Program (tsmc Udreamer), themed “WHAT IF,” invites college and university students across Taiwan to courageously build their dreams. In addition to the “Open Category,” which encourages the realization of personal dreams, the program also features a “Sustainability Category” where any project focusing on sustainability issues is welcome. We warmly invite passionate youth to pursue their aspirations and take concrete action with the support of grant funding.

    (2) The total prize pool for the 11th TSMC Youth Dreamer Program is NT$3,000,000. Currently enrolled undergraduate and master’s degree students from universities and colleges nationwide (excluding executive/in-service master’s programs and Ph.D. students) are eligible to participate in teams of two to five members.     ]]>     1.In addition to long-distance highway bus fare discounts, combining them with the TPASS 2.0+ Frequent Passenger Program (15% rebate for 2–3 trips/month, 30% rebate for 4+ trips/month) and registering on the Green Transportation Service Platform for an extra 3% bonus rebate allows passengers to enjoy maximum discounts of up to 60% off (40% of original price) during the Mid-Autumn/Teachers’ Day long holiday, and up to 43% off (57% of original price) during the National Day long holiday.
